A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available with positions located in West Palm Beach, FL, and surrounding areas including Tallahassee. These full-time roles are intended for the 2025-2026 school year, with placement options across Elementary, Middle, and High School settings to support students’ communication development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and educational standards.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Active Florida SLP License from the Department of Health is required.
  • While prior experience working in a school environment is not mandatory, recent pediatric experience is highly preferred.
  • Candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome.
  • Those not currently licensed but interested in Florida licensure and future opportunities are encouraged to apply for further discussion.

Location and travel:

  • Positions are based onsite in schools across West Palm Beach and Tallahassee, FL.
  • Travel between school sites within the district may be required.
