Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license in Florida
- Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with educators and parents
- Knowledge of IEP process and compliance requirements
- Ability to conduct student assessments and provide tailored speech/language therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, individually and in small groups
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech or language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and caregivers to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
