Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) also welcome to apply
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings is highly valued
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse K-12 caseload
- Commitment to collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement targeted therapy for a range of communication disorders
- Maintain organized and compliant documentation of student progress
- Communicate proactively with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize support for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Remain adaptive to varying caseload sizes and student needs throughout the assignment
Your commitment will be met with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours across five days, ensuring consistency for both you and your students. Anticipate working with a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels, providing impactful interventions that foster language and communication skills.
