Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Texas state license (through Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulation)
- CCC from ASHA (if hours logged)
- Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, especially eye gaze technology and Accent devices (programming, calibration, and maintenance)
- Strong collaboration skills for supporting educational teams
- Previous school-based SLP work preferred
- References upon request
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person direct therapy for a high school student at their campus
- Provide expert programming, calibration, and ongoing maintenance of the student's Accent device
- Offer indirect AT support and consultation to the student’s educational team
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate progress
- Ensure compliance with district and state requirements
