School Speech Language Pathologist - Olpe, Kansas
Make an impact supporting students across multiple school districts within a collaborative and flexible environment. This contract opportunity allows you to deliver Speech-Language Pathology services onsite to a diverse population, making a meaningful difference in their educational journey. Choose from various locations in the cooperative, all conveniently within an hour of Emporia. Enjoy a caseload that ranges from individual days with approximately 10-12 students to a full week seeing up to 55 students.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Kansas SLP license (required prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but open to motivated new graduates
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to travel between sites within the Cooperative
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students onsite
- Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for compliance
- Engage with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress
- Travel to assigned buildings in any of the Cooperative's locations as needed
