Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working onsite across a variety of school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to caseloads averaging 10-12 students per day, with a typical full week serving 50-55 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to support student success
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings as needed
- Travel between school sites located within the cooperative as assigned
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with district and state requirements
