Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Prior experience in K-12 school settings highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student growth in communication, language, and social skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address IEP goals
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, one-on-one and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support students’ educational progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for progress reports and IEP meetings
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best SLP practices
