Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Eligible for state licensure for SLP practice in South Carolina (or able to obtain)
- Prior experience in school-based environments preferred
- Proficiency in assessment, documentation, and therapeutic intervention
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students onsite
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop targeted treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support IEP implementation
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress
