The successful professional will manage a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, delivering assessments, interventions, and ongoing support critical to student development and success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Bilingual ability is a plus, though not required
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is advantageous
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students onsite, monitoring and documenting progress
- Supervise up to two SLPAs, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with standards
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment that encourages student engagement
