A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in an on-site capacity within a school setting located in San Francisco, CA. This contract position runs promptly through June 3, 2026, offering 40 hours per week. Candidates will primarily conduct Pre-K intake assessments and provide FMLA coverage for an existing SLP at an elementary school for the remainder of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Pre-K intake speech and language assessments
- Provide comprehensive speech therapy services in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication needs
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of evaluations and therapy sessions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA)
- Clear or Professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) preferred but not required
- Experience in school-based SLP services, specifically Pre-K population assessments
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual language skills are highly preferred
- Candidates currently holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) are not eligible for this role
Location:
- On-site presence is mandatory; virtual or voice-only coverage is not accepted
