Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain required credentials for working in school-based settings
- Previous experience working with K-12 population is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to suit individual student needs across a broad age and ability range
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy to K-12 students in alignment with district and state guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable, student-centered goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate optimal student outcomes
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting communication skills and language development
- Consult with classroom teachers to provide strategies and interventions that support students in inclusive settings
