Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, especially working with K-12 students
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert input and documentation
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain current and thorough records, complying with all school and state guidelines
- Offer guidance and professional support to faculty and staff on best practices for supporting students with speech and language needs
