Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for Arkansas
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in a school-based setting
- Strong understanding of IEPs, goal-setting, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student development in both academic and social settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute insights, and update goals according to student progress
- Engage in ongoing communication with school staff and related service providers
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
