Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Milwaukee, WI

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade, with a primary focus on learners in grades 5-8. You'll work closely with a diverse caseload, enabling you to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and academic growth throughout the entire 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare settings is highly valued
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite in a school environment
- Skilled in engaging with children from ages 4 to 14
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services for a caseload centered around grades 5-8, while supporting younger students as needed
- Conduct evaluations, create treatment goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and family members
- Participate in IEP meetings, articulating assessment results and recommended interventions clearly
- Integrate evidence-based practices to foster students’ speech and language development
- Support students individually and in small group sessions, adjusting approaches to fit their unique needs
