You will be responsible for conducting 7 sessions per week, supporting students as they develop critical communication skills in the comfort of their own homes.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with K-4th grade children preferred
- Strong assessment, therapy planning, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with virtual documentation platforms and reporting systems
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with families and educational teams
- Professional, compassionate communicator who builds rapport with both children and caregivers
- Reliable transportation for in-home travel; mileage is payable
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized speech and language therapy sessions for students in their homes
- Complete 7 sessions weekly, tailoring plans to unique developmental and educational needs
- Develop and implement engaging therapy strategies based on IEP goals
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports
- Collaborate with parents and school staff to support continued progress
