Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with K-12 student populations
- Understanding of IEP planning, implementation, and compliance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with education professionals, families, and support staff
- Commitment to a full school year assignment
- Organizational skills to manage varying caseloads efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication needs
- Deliver direct therapy and interventions to students individually and in small groups
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide input for IEP creation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and onsite TA support to implement best practices and support student success
- Document evaluations, progress, and intervention outcomes in alignment with school and district protocols
- Engage with families to provide resources and strategies for continued development at home
