Desired Background and Experience:
- Licensed as an SLP or SLPA (active state credentials required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs preferred
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or early intervention settings strongly valued
- Proficiency in evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy targeting speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and complete all required documentation in a timely manner
- Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers regarding strategies for continual progress
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize success
- Foster a positive, motivating, and inclusive atmosphere in all therapy activities
