ProCare Therapy Schools - SLP Contract Today Apply

Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students with diverse abilities as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact with students ages 3–21 who have visual impairments as well as cognitive, medical, and orthopedic needs. The upcoming school year begins with orientation on August 24th, followed by the first day with students on August 31st, and runs through June 11, 2027 (with possible makeup days). Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, working 35 hours per week.

As part of a dynamic setting, you’ll work with a caseload typically ranging from 25-40 students. The emphasis is on fostering communication, functional independence, and daily integration of skills. Most students are non-verbal, so you will be pivotal in setting up communication systems such as AAC devices, eye gaze technology, tactile or picture systems, and low-tech options, embedding these tools seamlessly into their routines.

Key Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
  • Experience in schools or pediatric therapy preferred
  • Familiarity with AAC devices and augmentative communication systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to individualized, student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor direct and consultative speech services
  • Design and adapt communication systems for a variety of student needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation and data collection
  • Focus on functional, independence-based goals

In this role, you'll benefit from highly competitive compensation, weekly pay, comprehensive insurance options (medical, dental, vision, and life), a matching 401k, and access to a flexible spending account.

If you are ready to empower students and champion meaningful communication, we invite you to apply today. Take the next step in your speech-language pathology career—your expertise will truly make a difference!
