Your expertise will shine in this role through:
- Current SLP-CCC licensure
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting (K–5 preferred)
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse, moderate caseload (approximately 60 students)
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress reporting
- Organizational skills to manage therapy schedules and documentation efficiently
- Dedication to fostering student growth in speech, language, and communication
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and support IEP team meetings
- Progress-monitor and document student growth, updating teachers and families as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success in both general and special education settings
- Maintain accurate records and meet required compliance standards
- Act as a resource to the school community regarding communication needs
This contract runs January 4, 2027 – June 7, 2027, for 35 hours per week, serving an inclusive school and approximately 60 K–5 students.
