Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year. This opportunity involves working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a focus on elementary and high school students. Your caseload could include a communication support classroom, behavior support classroom, or a setting serving students with multiple disabilities. Collaborate closely with educators and other specialists to foster growth, inclusion, and communication skills for your students.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be entering your Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
- Demonstrated knowledge of student-centered speech and language therapy in school-based settings
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
- Adaptable, patient, and skilled in managing various classroom environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for students with diverse communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce language interventions and generalization strategies
- Support students in communication, behavior, or multiple disabilities classrooms as assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare progress reports
