📋 Position Details
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Atlanta, GA 30303
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Setting: School-Based
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Grade Levels: K–12
- Start Date: ASAP / As soon as possible
- Contract: Full School Year
- Hours: Full-Time school schedule
- Caseload: To be determined based on student needs and school placement
🧠 Responsibilities
As a school-based SLP, you will provide speech and language services designed to support students' communication, academic participation, and overall success.
Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to students
- Working with students individually and in small groups
- Addressing articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language needs
- Supporting students with communication and social-language needs
- Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and related-service providers
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to students' Individualized Education Programs
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate service records
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy strategies as appropriate
- Communicating with families and school staff regarding student needs and progress
- Providing consultation and recommendations to support students within the classroom environment

- Organized, dependable, and able to manage a student caseload
- A strong communicator and team player
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledgeable about IEPs and school-based speech and language services
- Committed to helping students reach their communication and educational goals
🎓 Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Appropriate Georgia SLP licensure/certification or eligibility
- ASHA certification preferred
- School-based experience is preferred, but qualified clinical and pediatric candidates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work full-time Monday–Friday during the school year
