School Speech Language Pathologist - Newnan, Georgia

What You'll Bring:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Georgia state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings, including assessment and development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide group and individual therapy to a diverse student population
- Compassion and adaptability to meet the unique needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Provide therapeutic interventions in both one-on-one and small group settings
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust approaches based on student response
- Offer support and education to teachers and caregivers to further student development
- Stay current on best practices, continuing education, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
