Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state speech-language pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but new graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Experience or interest in working with a diverse student population, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students identified with speech-language needs
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with IEP team members
- Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, to address speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance throughout the school year
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
- Serve as a resource on speech and language development for school staff and parents
