Pediatric SLP in Jersey City, NJ

Required Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- New Jersey SLP license with appropriate credentials for school placement (“prints”)
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric and school-age populations
- Comfortable supporting students with various communication impairments (AAC device experience not required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication impairments, primarily Communication Impairment diagnoses
- Conduct seven therapy sessions each day, providing individualized attention without combining groups
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support students’ developmental goals and educational success
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals as needed
