Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, gather student details, and develop individualized speech and language therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to meet student goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records per school and legal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and school leadership to support student success
- Present evaluations and recommendations to members of the team, including Alyson and Jordan, in scheduled meetings
- Ensure therapy services are delivered onsite; remote or virtual (voco) services are not needed for this placement
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support IEP development as needed
