As an SLP with your CCC credential, you’ll manage a caseload of 35-40 students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to help each child reach their full communication potential. Your expertise in pediatric and school-based speech therapy will have a positive impact not just on students’ academic success, but on their confidence and social skills as well.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with school-based SLP or pediatric SLP populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and compliance in an educational setting
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Active state licensure or eligibility in Louisiana
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with teachers and families
- Document progress, maintain records, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings as needed
- Provide therapy and consultation both individually and in small groups
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports diverse learners
