Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Maryland State license to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working in schools, especially at the elementary level, is valued
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- A passion for helping students achieve their communication and language goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech and language disorders among elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that foster student growth
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication with educational teams
- Participate in virtual interviews and orientation as needed
