You’ll work full-time with a manageable caseload, collaborating closely with educators and families to deliver comprehensive speech therapy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current, active NCDPI Speech-Language Pathologist license (must provide with application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with school-based speech-language pathology, including developing and implementing IEP goals
- Familiarity using ECATS for documentation and compliance
- Previous experience presenting at IEP meetings, conducting evaluations, and writing reports
- Ability to provide engaging, effective speech services to middle-school-aged students
- Strong organizational and communication skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver in-person speech/language therapy to students, as outlined in their IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to collaborative goal setting and planning
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and regular screenings as needed
- Write detailed Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance statements and annual goals
- Manage a caseload not exceeding 50 students (current average is 39, with a mix of “Speech Only” and “Speech as Related Service”)
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation within ECATS and ensure compliance with school and state requirements
- Work in partnership with educators, families, and staff to support student progress
