Speech Language Pathologist in Hartford, CT
A contract position for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) is available in the Hartford, CT area, serving two elementary schools with sites to be determined. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work onsite with a diverse range of students in inclusive settings.
Key details include:
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM
- Duration: Immediate start with an assignment through June 9, 2026
- Weekly hours: 35 hours
- Two openings available
- Position split between two elementary schools serving students across multiple disability categories (no specialized classrooms)
Requirements:
- Active Connecticut state license to practice as an SLP
- Valid district fingerprints and background clearance
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates holding Clinical Fellow (CF) status will also be considered
- Prior experience in school-based settings is required
- SLP Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this role
Responsibilities include providing speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students within inclusive school environments, collaborating with school staff, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
The hiring process will include a Zoom interview. Early submission of licenses and credentials is recommended for consideration.
