Travel Speech Language Pathologist in New Britain, CT
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity offers a dynamic, school-based role located in New Britain, CT. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours per week. The assignment starts ASAP and runs through June 9, 2026, with two openings available.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Managing caseloads that cover various disability categories within general education settings
- Maintaining compliance with school district requirements, including accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required; consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CF)
- Active Connecticut SLP license mandatory
- Proven school-based experience working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to obtain district fingerprinting and background clearance
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) considered for this role
