School Speech Language Pathologist - Boulder City, Nevada
A K-12 school located in Boulder City, NV, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their collaborative team on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. The position offers flexibility with options for full-time or part-time work, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week.
This role involves managing a caseload of students throughout the full spectrum of services, including conducting assessments, writing detailed reports, and actively participating in IEP meetings. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, as you will attend staff meetings and work closely with educators and support staff to provide comprehensive support for students’ speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Nevada DOE Speech Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings (SLP – School, SLP – CFY, or SLP – CCC)
- Ability to manage assessment, report writing, and IEP responsibilities efficiently
- Strong collaboration skills and openness to team-based work
