Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive school environment for the 2026–27 academic year. This position spans from September 8th to June 18th, offering a consistent, part-time schedule of two days per week. The role focuses on serving a diverse PK-8 caseload, with a strong emphasis on supporting preschool students.

Ideal candidates will bring expertise in working with AAC devices and experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Collaborate closely with educators, families, and allied professionals to facilitate meaningful progress for students with speech and language needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Previous pediatric experience within a school or healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and documentation for school-aged populations, especially PK.
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy tailored to individual student needs, primarily preschool-aged.
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to coordinate care and promote positive educational outcomes.
  • Support AAC device use and provide training to staff and caregivers.
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as required.
