Elementary Speech and Language Pathologist in Naples, FL

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 26/27 school year at an elementary school in Naples, FL. This is a contract position offering 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a traditional school calendar schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, identify, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in elementary school students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct speech therapy services in compliance with state and district regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all students receiving services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license.
- Successfully cleared fingerprints and ability to apply for or transfer a JLA Badge within Florida.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited for working with children and school staff.
- Previous experience in an elementary school setting preferred.
