Located in Fort Myers, FL, this opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF) to provide services within K-12 public schools under a contract spanning the current school year (CSY), with an anticipated start as soon as possible through June 1, 2026. This position is on-site only and serves multiple school sites primarily in the East Zone, including the Lehigh Acres area and Lexington Middle School near Naples.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across various grade levels K-12
- Manage caseloads that vary depending on school site assignments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student development
- Maintain compliance with district policies and state licensure requirements
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license
- Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements as per Florida school district standards, including verification or re-printing of fingerprints for state clearances
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work full-time (up to 37.5 hours/week) or potentially part-time
