A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Franklin Park, IL. This contract position covers a leave assignment from the current date through the end of the school year (05/22/2026). The role involves working on-site in a self-contained early childhood center setting, supporting students with speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a self-contained early childhood setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in meetings related to student goals and progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement issued by ISBE.
- Experience working with early childhood or elementary school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site full-time; no virtual or remote work allowed.
