A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the remainder of the school year in Burbank, IL. This position involves working primarily with diagnostic evaluations and a small caseload of early childhood (EC) students in the afternoons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic speech-language evaluations
- Provide therapy to a small group of EC students (approximately 9-10) twice a week in the afternoon
- Write reports and documentation during designated times
- Attend relevant meetings regarding student progress and services
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Credentialed with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting
- Strong diagnostic and evaluation skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and communicate effectively with teams and families
Schedule and Location:
- Located in Burbank, IL
- Full-time contract position for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year
- Work schedule includes afternoons servicing EC students two times weekly and three full days dedicated to diagnostics and paperwork
