This opportunity involves contract positions for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) serving K-12 students in a special education setting in the Naperville, IL area. These leave coverage roles entail providing assessment and direct therapy services in both district and cooperative programs, addressing diverse student needs.

Positions Available:

  • Full-time SLP for District 7 (starting 10/13/2025 through 2/13/2026): Caseload includes 2.5 days in an elementary and early childhood setting and 2.5 days in specialized programs such as ALSP and SSP.
  • Part-time SLP for Lake Park East (starting 11/10/2025 through 3/20/2026): Caseload includes ALSP Lake Park East and Transition programs, requiring three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop individualized goals aligned with IEP requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students
  • Manage caseload and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois SLP licensure through ASHA required
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-12 special education settings
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapeutic techniques, and IEP processes
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide itinerant services and travel between assigned school sites (travel time compensated; inquire about mileage reimbursement)

Location: Naperville, IL area, with assignments in Roselle and Wooddale
