School Speech Language Pathologist - Joliet, Illinois
This opportunity is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position based in Joliet, Illinois, providing services across multiple school settings. The role involves working 37.5 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM in a contract capacity. The caseload is diverse, including high school general education, early childhood and elementary autism programs, elementary multi-needs, emotional/behavioral disorders, transition services, self-contained autism, general education K–5, K–1, grades 5–6, and junior high autism programs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across various educational levels and needs.
- Provide onsite or virtual consults using VOCO technology.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current State of Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License.
- Certification in speech-language pathology (SLP - CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and a range of communication disorders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
