This opportunity focuses on working with PreK-2nd grade students, providing services in a collaborative and nurturing school environment near Naperville, IL.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide speech, language, and communication support for PreK-2nd grade caseloads, tailoring therapy to meet each student’s needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with student goals and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster inclusive learning opportunities
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and refine interventions for optimal success
- Participate in team meetings and support the multidisciplinary approach to student well-being
- Deliver evidence-based, engaging teletherapy and onsite services as appropriate
Required Experience & Skills:
- State certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CCC)
- Background in school-based settings, pediatric populations, or healthcare related to speech-language services
- Experience working with diverse learning needs and developing IEPs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultation abilities
- Comfort with both onsite and teletherapy service models
- Candidates completing or holding CFY, as well as SLPA professionals with appropriate experience, are encouraged to apply
