Make a meaningful difference supporting students’ communication growth as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the beautiful region near Myrtle Creek, OR. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide essential services to a diverse caseload within K-12 settings, working across one to three school sites, depending on assignment needs.
You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families while enhancing each student’s ability to communicate and participate fully in the school environment. Flexible four- or five-day workweeks (38 hours per week) make it easier to balance professional commitment with personal time. Start as soon as possible and continue making a lasting impact through June 2027.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Oregon SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Experience in K-12 education settings strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt to working across multiple sites as needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Overview:
- Serve a caseload of approximately 45–60 students; specific assignments and age ranges (K–12) may vary
- Provide evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Utilize evidence-based practices and maintain up-to-date documentation
- Additional responsibilities will be discussed during your interview
