A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide services at multiple schools across Jackson County and Roseburg, OR, for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position involves a dynamic mix of caseloads with a strong focus on Early Childhood Special Education (3-5 year olds). Working in a supportive, collaborative environment, the SLP will serve a diverse student population, including approximately 20% Spanish-speaking children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services and participate in Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
  • Manage an average caseload of 35 students starting, growing to around 65 by year-end
  • Supervise up to 3 Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), with caseloads adjusted accordingly
  • Collaborate with 3 Speech Department Instructional Assistants who support bilingual students and assist Clinical Fellows
  • Conduct speech groups weekly and individual consultations in a push-in model averaging 40 minutes per month per student
  • Provide services primarily on-site within school settings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed SLP, eligible to work onsite in Oregon
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience in school-based and early childhood special education settings
  • Comfort working with bilingual students and managing caseloads with support staff
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
