School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Muskegon, Michigan

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Michigan Bureau of Professional Licensing (LARA)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA CCCs preferred; open to Clinical Fellows (CFYs) with supervision available
- Experience serving school-aged children (K-12) is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Collaborative, flexible approach to working with educators, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to optimize support for student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Provide consultative strategies and resources to staff and families as needed
This role offers a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week through June 2027, permitting you to build relationships and make a long-lasting impact on students’ academic and social success. Supportive supervision is available for CFY applicants, enhancing your professional development in a nurturing environment.
