Speech Language Pathologist in Owosso, MI
Make a difference in the lives of children by supporting elementary and preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Owosso and Perry areas. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Michigan
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with early childhood or elementary-aged students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and caseloads as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure holistic and effective student support
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records
- Serve as a resource for staff and families in supporting student communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech and language development
