Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license required (LARA)
- Background in K-12 education settings strongly preferred
- Open to both SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to supporting student growth and overcoming communication challenges
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide both direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Monitor and document progress, maintaining relevant records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment for students with diverse needs
