Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders required
- Active Michigan SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to preschool-aged children in accordance with best practices and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and track progress throughout the school year
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student communication development
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with ASHA and local regulations
- Adjust caseload as the year progresses, beginning with a small group of preschoolers and expanding as needed
