Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Michigan required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience and/or enthusiasm for working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Ability to provide effective onsite services in elementary educational environments
- Strong collaborative, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address student needs
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to individuals and small groups onsite
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school policy and state guidelines
- Serve students enrolled in non-public schools supported by the district, in addition to public school caseload
