Speech Pathology - Mount Washington, KY
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a leave coverage contract in a school setting located in Mount Washington, KY. This role offers approximately 33.75 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 am to 2:30 pm. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and is expected to last roughly 4-6 weeks.
Responsibilities include providing speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 45 to 50 students in grades 3 and 4. The role requires assessment, evaluation, and implementation of treatment plans tailored to individual student needs, working collaboratively with educators and families to support student communication development.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 children, adapting therapy to meet diverse speech and language needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families
- Flexibility to start immediately and provide dependable coverage for the specified duration
