Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
- Valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility) for South Carolina
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students from diverse backgrounds
- Organized, self-motivated, and flexible in a school setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy, both individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate documentation for sessions, progress, and compliance
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain confidentiality of student information at all times
