We're seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a contract role focused on delivering exceptional care in a school setting. Your expertise will play a key role in fostering communication skills and academic growth among students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active CCC credential
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting
- Familiarity with IEP processes; experience using IEP Pro is a plus
- Organized and collaborative approach to working with school teams
- Comfortable managing multiple school sites (typically 1-2)
- Medicaid billing experience and/or willingness to learn
- Experience supervising SLPAs (preferred, but not required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions for Elementary (mostly) and Middle School students
- Perform comprehensive speech/language evaluations and write detailed reports
- Participate in consultations with staff and families to develop successful interventions
- Supervise SLPAs, as needed, to maintain high standards of care
- Attend team meetings and contribute as a valuable team member
- Complete all required Medicaid billing and documentation efficiently
- Maintain timely and accurate IEPs using IEP Pro system
