Make a real difference in the lives of high school students by providing comprehensive speech-language therapy services in a dynamic educational environment. In this full-time, full-school-year, itinerant contract role, you'll support three vibrant high school communities, with the majority of your caseload based at Mountain View but also including a mix of diverse learners at Vista and MCAT.
Work closely with students facing a range of communication challenges from articulation to Autism Spectrum Disorder—especially those in adaptive cluster programs. Gain experience managing a caseload of 60–70 students with varying needs, and enjoy the variety and professional growth that comes from working across different campuses. Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply, and you'll also have the chance to collaborate with an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility
- Arizona state SLP license and active standard certification
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card (required)
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but open to Clinical Fellows and those eager to support an SLPA
- Ability to adapt therapy for mild to severe disabilities and multiple communication needs
Responsibilities:
- Manage an itinerant caseload of approximately 60–70 high school students
- Deliver direct therapy and conduct assessments
- Develop and update IEPs, documenting student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Support inclusion and adaptive communication strategies
